Afolabi Esan
Chairman
Folabi Esan is currently a partner at Adlevo Capital and also serves on the board of First City Monument Bank Plc (FCMB) as an Independent Non-Executive Director. He is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur, whose career has spanned the fields of engineering and production, consulting, information technology, and finance and investing. He has worked with large corporations including Shell, Arthur Andersen and Bain & Company. He served on the board of the Nigerian German Business Association for almost 20 years and as a two-term president, he was instrumental in transforming the Association into a Chamber of Commerce. He is a founding Board Member of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Association of Nigeria and a past President of the Stanford Alumni Association in Nigeria.
Abimbola Ogundokun
Managing Director
Abimbola has over 20 years financial industry experience spanning Insurance, Training, Planning, Banking (Merchant and Commercial) and consulting at Senior to Strategic Management level. He has gained extensive exposure in the areas of strategic management, financial control (management), relationship management, risk management, human resources management, market development, and change management through job application supported by various qualitative educational programs. Prior to becoming the Managing Director of GDL, he worked in the Insurance sector as a general manager E-business & productions with Standard Alliance Insurance Group. He was previously the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) with National Bank of Nigeria Plc (now Wema Bank Plc and also worked at Fidelity Union Merchant Bank (now Fidelity Bank Plc) in the Human Resource department. Abimbola has attended many developmental training courses.
Idemudia Osahon
Director
Idemudia Osahon was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988 and is currently an active member of both the Nigerian and International Bar Associations. He is a consummate litigator who has served as State Counsel in Civil Litigation in the office of the Federal Attorney General and Minister of Justice.
He has represented clients in all courts and tribunals within Nigeria and has extensive experience in various areas of trial practice. He is an analytical and seasoned professional who has served as Counsel on several landmark cases. He also has particular expertise in structuring complex, financial transactions and project finance.
Ibukun Adegbite
Director
Ibukun Adegbite started his career in banking with Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (now GTCO Plc) as a credit analyst and developed expertise in deal structuring, participating in financing several landmark projects within the Nigerian economy. He is a seasoned entrepreneur with interests in various sectors of the Nigeria economy including oil & gas and engineering services.
